Deaf comedy jam with Keith Wann

Comic Keith Wann grew famous for his sign-language translation of “Ice Ice Baby.” He was recently asked to interpret Broadway’s upcoming West Side Story for the hearing-impaired. But before he hits Broadway, he’s coming to Las Vegas.

Best part of performing: “Having deaf parents allowed me to turn my childhood experiences into a career and increase awareness of sign language.”
Funniest sign: “When teachers have elementary kids sign ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,’ they usually swap the sign for ‘diamond’ with the sign for ‘female anatomy.’”
Second-favorite Vanilla Ice song: “‘Havin’ a Roni’ is hilarious to interpret to deaf audiences. Beatboxing doesn’t translate well.”
