Never Let Me Go Science-fiction fans who like their stories with more thoughtfulness than explosions should check out this subdued, often fascinating drama with a great performance from Carey Mulligan as a clone struggling to find her own identity. Now playing at Village Square, Colonnade.

Terriers Two private detectives—a washed-up cop (Donal Logue) and a former thief (Michael Raymond-James)—are the fall TV season’s most likable duo in this clever drama, which contains some genuine surprises along the way. Wednesdays, 10 p.m., FX.
