Looking to fill your pre-recession urges on a post-recession budget? Look no further than Rosemary's happy hour. In the bar from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. on weekdays, you get half off any drink (bottles of wine excepted) with a small-plates menu that allows you to sample a variety of the west-side standby's French-inspired American cuisine at a fraction of the normal price. My favorites include the Parmesan risotto cakes ($5) with tomato beurre blanc (butter sauce) and sautéed crawfish tails ($8) over angel-hair pasta. The cakes pair wonderfully with a Spicy Mary of Love ($5.50) — the smokiness from each complementing the other — while the crawfish pasta goes great with a glass of Piece de Roche ($5.50), the wine's robustness contrasting nicely with the pasta's spiciness. Altogether, those four dishes and drinks run just $24 at happy hour, a veritable steal at a Vegas staple.
