The Beach at Mandalay will have you feeling like you’re on the coast rather than the middle of the desert. This 11-acre, man-made beach includes 2,700 tons of sands and a wave pool to simulate the ocean. In addition, the Beach at Mandalay Bay includes a lazy river and several whirlpools.

For those who don’t want to get into the pool, the Beach includes 100 daybeds, cabanas and villas, and poolside gaming such as blackjack and roulette.

Every week is Shark Week at the Golden Nugget pool. The $30 million pool complex features a shark tank in the center where a three-story water slide cuts through the middle of the glass-enclosed aquarium.

The pool also includes 15 cabanas, ranging from $175 to $250 per day, and poolside gaming. The pool area is open until 2 a.m. for guests to use the Jacuzzis, cabanas and H2O bar.

The pools at the Flamingo are surrounded by a 15-acre wildlife retreat that is home to tropical birds such as silver pheasants and, of course, flamingos. The lower pools interconnect through the lagoons, cascading waterfalls and a water slide for the kids and the kids at heart.

For adults looking for refuge, there’s the topless, adult-only Go Pool and several cabanas featuring flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, bottle service and cabana attendants.

Red Rock’s backyard sits on three acres of poolside paradise. The complex features a beach area, 19 cabanas, one main pool and eight smaller wading pools. Sip on a drink, or enjoy the poolside gaming environment. The pool area also serves as an entertainment venue and can host a variety of public and private events for up to 3,000 people.

The pool at MGM Grand is more than just a pool. The 6.6-acre pool complex includes five pools, three whirlpools, waterfalls and a 1,000-foot lazy river, which is Las Vegas’ largest. The complex includes 27 private cabanas.

In addition to the family-friendly pools, MGM Grand also houses WET Republic, a 53,000-square-foot pool club.
