I love me some fro-yo. Who doesn’t? And there are so many different yogurt shops in Vegas these days where you can customize your own cool creation; within a mile of my house there’s U-Swirl, Menchie’s, Golden Swirl and Yogurtland. How can I choose just one?
My man Brian sent me to I Love Yogurt. He makes the fancy cakes at Retro Bakery, so he knows a thing or two about sweets. I Love Yogurt is known for its ’80s theme. There are classic arcade games, a soft drink time machine, Garbage Pail Kids cards, vintage MTV and WWF videos playing ... But Brian likes it because the fro-yo is the best in town. Gimmicks aside, I have to agree. It’s thicker and creamier. I’m not sure how they do this, but it’s worth the trip west past the beltway to give this fro-yo a go. The plain tart flavor is great, even if it is named after Mr. T. A big bowl of this sweet and sour stuff and a game of Donkey Kong is a pretty cool night.
