Ben-Hur 50th Anniversary Edition A movie as gigantic as this three-and-a-half-hour religious epic deserves to be watched on as big a screen as possible, so go see the Oscar-winning 1959 film on Century’s massive XD screen. December 8, 2 & 7 p.m., $10-$13, Century South Point.
Luck HBO’s newest drama series—set in the world of horse racing and featuring Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte—premieres in January, but you can catch the entire first episode this week. December 11, 10 p.m., HBO.

Winterfest Henderson presents its first nighttime light parade (Saturday, 5 p.m.) as part of its annual wintry celebration. Santa arrives Friday night for the official tree lighting (6 p.m.), with roving carolers and other entertainment also scheduled. December 9-10, free entry.
