Would you buy a burger from Ethel M? How about a garden salad from Godiva? Well, Sugar Factory is hoping you’ll reconsider; the retail confectioner known for pairing celebutantes with shiny lollipops is set to open a brasserie at Paris Las Vegas this March.

Borrowing the informal concept of a French brasserie and giving it some American flavor, the Sugar Factory restaurant will serve casual culinary favorites like omelets, chicken and waffles and pizzas. But if it’s the couture candy store’s signature treats you’re after, no need to worry. The Sugar Factory American Brasserie will also double as the company’s first flagship store, and the retail outlet will include a “chocolate lounge” with luxurious chocolate fondue and drink pairings, as well as an outdoor café featuring coffee, salads and sandwiches and 36 flavors of ice creams and gelatos.

With celeb sightings common at Sugar Factory’s two current locations at the Mirage and inside the Miracle Mile Shops, the grand opening will certainly be no different. Superstar socialite and Sugar-fanatic Kim Kardashian will play hostess for the March 4 event, with Spice Girl Mel B, former Girl Next Door Holly Madison and Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of pop girl group the Pussycat Dolls, joining her.

So come March, should you be Strip-side and experience cravings for steak frites and couture pops simultaneously, rest easy knowing that there is a restaurant designed exactly for that eccentric combination.
