Serious Las Vegas beer drinkers likely already have Aces and Ales bookmarked in their GPS, but after this weekend, the destination beer bar should have a few more regulars. On January 22 and 23 Aces and Ales will throw its Winter Beer Festival, featuring such brews as Dogfish Head’s Burton Baton Imperial IPA and Stone’s 2008 Bourbon Barrel IRS, Smoked Chipotle Porter and Double Bastard Strong Ale. If more than 35 sample-worthy selections of winter beers aren’t enough, a lineup of brewing experts from Deschutes, Stone, Sierra Nevada and other breweries will be on hand to drop some knowledge on you. Or just to have a pint. Nitro stout, anyone?
