The pairing of Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher in No Strings Attached (opening January 21) got us wondering: Does Hollywood choose romantic-comedy couples by random draw? So we tried it—10 guys in one pile, 10 girls in another and 10 plot devices in a third. Here’s a sampling of our results ... anyone think these films couldn’t get made?
