Donald Traill, AP
7-Year Anniversary Party at Beauty Bar The hipster haven celebrates seven great years with a multifaceted extravaganza on Thursday. Jam to beats by DJs John Doe, Rex Dart and Ryan Pardey, or enjoy the live entertainment as Phil A & Hassan, Big Freedia and Delfonic Love all take the stage. A hosted bar from 9 to 10 p.m. completes the Downtown watering hole’s anniversary bash. July 14, 9 p.m., free.
Christmas in July at Haze If anything, the heat outside is an indication that “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” will not be upon us anytime soon. Haze switches that up, by bringing Mr. Claus to town a little early. Don your Santa suits, ladies, as the sexiest Ms. Claus (to be judged by Moose-a-Claus) takes home $5K! July 14, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40 men, $20 women, locals and industry professionals free.
Jack Daniel’s Swarm the Strip with Cee Lo at Wet Republic Jack Daniel’s celebrates the newest addition to its product line, Tennessee Honey, with this Friday night poolside concert at the MGM ultra pool. Taking the stage will be none other than Grammy-winning recording artist and judge of The Voice, Cee Lo. July 15, doors at 8 p.m., $15.
Jimmy’s Naughty Nighty Night/Perfecto at Rain Start thinking about what you’re not going to wear now. Ladies can pre-game Perfecto in their skivvies this weekend, as the Palms venue opens early for a special lingerie party. Resident DJ Zen Freeman headlines Paul Oakenfold’s weekly house music bash, with DJ Stellar supplying sounds beforehand. July 16, doors at 9 p.m., $40, local ladies free.
Gareth Emery & Blake Jarrell at Tao Beach Acclaimed British trance DJ Gareth Emery (currently No. 7 on DJ Mag’s Top 100) takes over the tables at Tao Beach’s Beatport pool party this week. Marquee resident DJ Blake Jarrell joins him for the Sunday soiree. July 17, doors at 10 a.m., $20, local ladies free.
Halfway 2 Halloween at Blush The October holiday is just three and a half months out, so use the boutique nightclub’s boo bash to give 2010’s costume one last wear—or test-drive this year’s gear. A sexiest costume contest completes the celebration, with the winning woman taking home $5K in cash and prizes. July 19, doors at 9 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, locals free.
Naughty By Nature at Pure Hip Hop Hooray! This performance is no F-to-the-R-to-the-O-to-the-N-to-the-T, hip-hop fans. The winners of the first-ever Grammy for Best Rap Album (1996) take the stage at the Caesars nightspot this Tuesday. Are you down with “O.P.P.?” July 19, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, industry professionals free.
Dennis Rodman at Chateau The controversial former rebounding champion parties it up as Chateau’s host this Tuesday for his big 5-0. The NBA great (and stogie aficionado) also celebrates the launch of his new WB Brand cigar line at the Paris nightspot’s Hip House Tuesdays industry night party. July 19, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, locals free.
