We know Tiesto, shown here performing at the Joint, will be at EDC. Who else?

Austin City Limits and Bumbershoot recently announced their festival lineups. Both take place in September. Electric Daisy Carnival kicks off three weeks from tonight, and promoter Insomniac has confirmed a total of three acts.
The Details
And yet, single-day general-admission tickets for Days 1 and 2 are sold out, and three-day passes are reportedly moving quickly. Which leads us to one of two conclusions: Either EDC attendees are utterly confident in the festival’s booking powers, or they’re coming for the party, not the individual names on the bill. Or some combination of the two.
As of today, the EDC website lists only its headliners: Tiësto (Friday, June 24), David Guetta (Saturday, June 25) and Swedish House Mafia (Sunday, June 26). In case you’re wondering, the 2010 EDC lineup came down on April 28, more than two months before the LA Coliseum-housed event.
Who else will hold down the promised “200+” slots across six stages at Las Vegas Motor Speedway? Several other artists have self-confirmed through their own websites and publicists, including Röyksopp (Friday), the Bloody Beetroots Death Crew ’77 (Friday) and Benny Benassi (Saturday), along with Richie Hawtin, who will apparently play a Plastikman set on Friday and a Hawtin set on Saturday.
As for the rest, well, stay tuned. A publicist tells us an announcement could come next week. Or maybe we’ll find out who’s playing as we walk through the gates. Wouldn’t that be different?
