What happens when Washington D.C.’s favorite Spanish import arrives in a city already obsessed with tapas? More fuel to the fire. At China Poblano and Jaleo, the 2011 James Beard Award-winner for Outstanding Chef serves creative bites like duck tongue tacos and cod and honey empanadas. Did someone say olé? At Cosmopolitan. Chef José Andrés brings a unique fusion of Chinese- and Mexican-style cuisine to his first Las Vegas restaurant. Tacos and noodles, enchiladas and udon, all under one roof. Weekend brunch is served from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Jaleo
If you are looking for authentic Spanish tapas, look no further then Jaleo. The Washington, D.C., original is such a favorite of Cosmopolitan CEO John Unwin that he decided to bring it to Las Vegas. Chef Jose Andres serves up Spanish favorites like serrano ham, paella and of course, sangria. Jaleo executive chef Rodolfo Guzman says his favorite dish on the menu are the paellas.
Jaleo is a finalist for the 2013 James Beard Foundation Awards in the Best Restaurant Design category (76 seats and over), for the design created by David Rockwell and his Rockwell Group. The winners will be announced in May.
The restaurant within Jaleo, called é by José Andrés, was named in March 2013 to Yelp's list for the top 100 more expensive restaurants in the U.S.
