Adult club Sapphire wants in on Vegas’ pool party action

Sarah Feldberg

Tue, Nov 15, 2011 (6:02 p.m.)

It was probably just a matter of time. First, nightclubs took party culture into the light with poolside dayclubs. Then, the Rio branded one of its pools with Sapphire Gentleman’s Club, before it was closed following prostitution arrests. Now, Sapphire is angling for its own watery attraction, a separate-but-affiliated pool club, where dancers would lounge by day, perhaps enticing visitors to watch them wiggle by night. County commissioners will consider the idea at a zoning meeting this week.
