Grimaldi’s coming to the Strip

Ken Miller

Thu, Nov 17, 2011 (2:41 p.m.)

Grimaldi’s has been a locals’ favorite for years, but now it’s about to become a Strip favorite as well.

When I want a slice of great pizza, there’s only a handful of places that immediately come to mind—Grimaldi’s is one of them. I love the coal-fired oven-baked crust, and always feel like I get my money’s worth.

Strip frequenters are about to get a dose of the Grimaldi’s joy, as the chain has opened its first store there—at the Fashion Show Mall. It’s on the first level and is open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. seven days a week.

It’s the fourth Grimaldi pizzeria in Nevada. The chain also operates 21 other stores in Arizona, Texas, New York and Florida, with 10 additional locations planned in 2012.

If you’ve never tried Grimaldi’s pizza, it’s time to discover the goodness. The company’s coal-fired ovens deliver a crispy crust that you just can’t get from Domino’s. For more information, go to grimaldispizzeria.com.
