Thanksgiving guide: where to get meals to go

Marie Callender’s is one of several local restaurants offering complete Thanksgiving meals to go.
This Thanksgiving be thankful you don’t have to cook if you don’t want to. Several area restaurants are offering entire pre-cooked meals to go so you can stay out of the kitchen as much as possible. Check below to select a feast made easy and be sure to place your order in time.
Mon Ami Gabi will be offering a full Thanksgiving spread available for pickup through Wednesday, November 23. Please call 702-944-4224 to place your order, which can be picked up Thanksgiving morning after 10 a.m. at either Mon Ami Gabi located at Paris Las Vegas or at El Segundo Sol in front of Fashion Show Mall. The carryout menu includes herb-roasted turkey with cranberry-jalapeno relish, garlic and sage bread stuffing, sweet potato gratin, haricots verts, potato purée, Jack Daniels gravy and endive and blue cheese salad. Dessert options include pumpkin bread pudding and pecan and chocolate tart. The cost is $29 per person, plus tax.
Hash House A Go Go presents the annual “Turkey To Go Go” Thanksgiving carryout offer. Through noon on Monday, Nov. 21, guests can order a complete turkey feast available for pickup at the Sahara location. The meal serves six people and costs $89.95. It includes a ten-pound deep fried turkey with stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes and pumpkin mashed potatoes, fresh green beans and carrots, homemade biscuits and strawberry jam, cranberry sauce and homemade Snickers or pumpkin bread pudding. Border Grill offers a modern Mexican twist on Thanksgiving with an a la carte menu of take out items including green corn tamales, turkey tamales, plantain empanadas, Border guacamole, creamy potato rajas and an assortment of pies and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and drink mixes. Prices vary per item and must be ordered 48 hours in advance. Please call 701-632-7403 to place an order.
Marie Callender’s offers take home feasts starting at $99.99. The meal includes an oven-roasted turkey breast or ham with seven side dishes and a whole pie of your choice. Marie Callender’s offers over 30 flavors of pies including banana cream, apple, pumpkin, mince with rum sauce, no sugar added apple and razzleberry plus a new caramel pecan pumpkin mousse pie. Mimi’s Café offers a holiday feast to go including a whole pre-cooked turkey, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, cornbread stuffing, fresh steamed vegetables, gravy, cranberry relish, carrot raisin nut bread and a whole pumpkin pie. The meal is priced at $79.99 and serves six to eight people. Additional sides can be added for an additional cost. Order online or by calling one of the two area locations: 6760 N. Local Claim Jumper locations are offering a meal to go in three different sizes. The feast costs $40 for two people, $95 for four to six people and $190 for eight to ten people. The meal includes Caesar salad, sourdough rolls, turkey breast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, cranberry orange relish, roasted vegetables and a choice of pumpkin or apple pie.
