How can you not love a comedian who spends so much time defending bacon as “the most beautiful thing on Earth”? But even if you love Gaffigan’s stand-up, odds are you can never escape that nagging feeling that you know him from somewhere else. That might be because Gaffigan has some serious acting chops, having appeared in small roles in everything from That ’70s Show to Sex and the City to Law & Order. Still can’t place him? How about his hilarious roles in the movies Super Troopers or Away We Go? Still stuck? Maybe you saw him on Broadway in That Championship Season. Not ringing any bells? Never mind then. He brings his love of food to Las Vegas this weekend. Jim Gaffigan, as far as we’re concerned, you’re the bacon of comedy.
