Steve Jobs helped shrink massive computers into handheld devices, so perhaps it’s fitting the local sandwich created in his honor is a slider, a miniature version of a full-sized hamburger.

For the rest of October, Sidin’ Thru will offer the Crazy One—named for Apple Computer’s 1990s “Think Different” campaign television commercials—from its truck and at its location at the corner of Sunset and Paradise. The ingredients? An applesauce-braised pork chop topped with apple bacon slaw, served on a bun featuring “a familiar symbol,” according to today’s press release.

Jobs, Apple’s co-founder, chairman and chief executive officer, died on October 5 due to complications from pancreatic cancer. One dollar from each $5 Crazy One purchase will go to the American Cancer Society.
