Suggestions for Wayne Newton’s home/soon-to-be tourist attraction

Image

You soon will be able to tour the home of Wayne Newton - and score a car wash while you are at it!

Scott Harrison, RETNA

Wayne Newton’s plans to open his home, Casa Shenandoah, as a tourist attraction are proceeding, and there’s been one addition to the experience announced recently. Along with his Arabian horses, 40-acre estate and theater, the Wayne Newton tour will now include a car wash big enough for a tour bus. Given the seeming randomness of this “feature,” we at Weekly propose these other elements for the Wayner tour:

1. Barbershop Make sure to ask for the “Wayne.” They’ll know exactly what you mean.

2. Drive-through pharmacy Hey, someone might be allergic to those penguins. Can’t be too careful.

3. Pet groomer Wait until you see the reactions when both you and your cocker spaniel are sporting the “Wayne.”

4. Real estate office You could be Newton’s neighbor. Sounds like a reality show in the making.
