MARCH
Las Vegas Halloween Parade Every weekend Downtown could be considered a parade, but on Monday a crew of costumed characters will take over the streets for a decidedly colorful occupation. Come walk with the Weekly. October 31, 7 p.m., lineup starts at 6 p.m. at 4th and Hoover Ave. .
GO
Fade Sag Crumble Ten local authors, including our own Danielle Kelly and Rick Lax, “confront decay” in an anthology that hits Amazon November 1. Join them at this kickoff event. October 27, 7 p.m., free, Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.
Dance Dance Dance! Nevada Ballet Theatre kicks off season 40 by teaming with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago on classical and contemporary choreography. October 29, 8 p.m.; October 30, 2 p.m.; $29+, Paris Las Vegas.
Fall Festival Temperatures are finally dropping, so consider this your official introduction to autumn. Hay rides, a petting zoo, hot cider ... We’re there. October 30, 10 a.m., $10-$15, the Resort on Mount Charleston.
HELP
Boneyard Bash The Neon Museum fundraiser promises a night of Halloween mischief and music. Support! October 28, 6 p.m., $125-$200, Jackie Gaughan Plaza (across from El Cortez).
HEAR
Minus the Bear These Seattle indie rockers once released an EP titled Bands Like It When You Yell “Yar!” at Them. Go to their show, and honor their request. With The Lonely Forest, October 30, 7 p.m., $22-$25, House of Blues.
SEE
The Walking Dead Ratings are huge for the zombie drama’s second season. Catch up online, then tune in to see what everyone’s talking about. Sundays, 9 p.m., AMC.
SNL's V-necks digital short Andy Samberg ignites a dressing-room war with Ben Stiller, culminating in an inappropriately deep V-neck and police intervention. nbc.com/saturday-night-live
