Aliens? There’s a Knapp for that

Image

George Knapp loves talking about aliens and the paranormal. Even if you sniff at the notion of little green men, it’s hard not to be entertained when Knapp, an investigative reporter for local Channel 8, begins throwing out facts and figures that he can probably toss about in his sleep by now, given how much he discusses the subject in public.

Calendar

An Evening with Dr. John Alexander & George Knapp
September 8, 7 p.m., free.
Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road, 507-3400.

He’s back again this week to spook the hell out of you, only this time he’s joined by Dr. John Alexander, a former Green Beret commander and developer of weapons at Los Alamos National Lab in New Mexico. Alexander is also the author of UFO: Myths, Conspiracies and Realities. In the 1980s he created a UFO-related interagency group. What did he find? This from one of his recent presentations: “UFOs are real ... there are hard physical objects that transit the universe from time to time—every sensor we have picks them up.” Intrigued?
