One part Candyland, one part Wonderland, Chateau Nightclub & Garden’s new Tuesday industry party is a sweet reason to stay out late on a school night. Presented by Sugar Factory, Candy Shop Tuesdays combines tasty snacks, lollipop cocktails, golden ticket giveaways, carnival-style games and candy-inspired décor for a bash straight out of Willy Wonka’s 21+ dreams. All locals get in free starting September 27.
Wine drinkers and beer snobs converge on Springs Preserve October 1 for the Grapes and Hops Festival—a sipping, strolling, tasting event benefitting Par for the Cure and breast cancer research. Along with unlimited samples of a variety of vintages and ales, restaurants like Mon Ami Gabi, Flemings and more will be serving complimentary bites to pair with your preferred beverages. Tickets are $35 in advance ($60 for two), $45 at the door and are available at springspreserve.org.
Every day you can feel fall closing in, so if you want to partake in the Strip’s party pools, the time is now. Right now. On Thursday, Encore Beach Club hosts its final Dip & Dance of the season, with the closing Daystar Sunday following a few days later featuring Pete Tong and Sidney Samson. Recess Fridays wrap up September 30, and EBC’s closing party hits on October 8.
When Tao Las Vegas celebrated its grand opening weekend in September 2005, hip-hop royalty was in the house in the form of Usher, Nelly, Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri. Six years later, the Asian-inspired club is honoring 1,000 nights of Tao this Friday with one of the reigning kings of the genre—and expectant father—Jay-Z. Who knows who’ll be hosting when the club notches 2,000 nights.
