Drive “This high-octane concoction is pure genre bliss,” says Weekly critic Mike D’Angelo of the stylish Ryan Gosling heist thriller, which he’s already seen twice. Now playing.

Boardwalk Empire HBO’s sprawling Prohibition-era Atlantic City gangster drama returns for a second season that promises more violence, more betrayals and more of the creepy assassin guy with half a face. Sundays, 9 p.m., premieres September 25.

Pan Am Remember when flying on airplanes was an exciting, luxurious experience? Relive those days with this glossy, fun new drama set among the employees of the titular airline during the early 1960s. Sundays, 10 p.m., ABC, premieres September 25.
