Unfunny business
Hey, Victoria Jackson and Jon Lovitz: remember when you used to be entertainers? We thought Saturday Night Live was a launching point for comedic stars, not political whack jobs. —Ken Miller, associate editor

Royale disappointment
Dear Venetian Poker Room: A Kir Royale served in a rocks glass is like caviar served on a paper towel. Please bring back the champagne flutes. —Rick Lax, staff writer

Awesome Andy
I don’t know what is more awesome: 1. Anderson Cooper playing in the Jeopardy! “Power Players Week” or 2. That he’s competing to fund-raise for the Trevor Project charity. Way to be, Andy Coop! —Mark Adams, associate web editor

Wrong way
Aria may have improved its I-15 signage, but it still needs to work on Strip-front wayfinding. Every time I enter Aria’s parking garage, another car is cruising the wrong way toward me, having missed the one-lane exit ramp. Seems dangerous. —Brock Radke, web & food editor

Hot to trot
The first casualty of 2012 heat? My rubber flip flops. One weekend left in the car and they’ve shrunk at least a size and started curling at the toes. Funny, I have a similar reaction to extreme temperatures. —Sarah Feldberg, editor
