Lucille’s Bar-B-Que expanding to Red Rock Resort in Summer 2013
Wed, Aug 15, 2012 (5:16 p.m.)
Red Rock Resort, get ready for ribs.
It’s been serving up Texas-style brisket, tri-tip, baby back ribs and other barbecue favorites since 2004 at The District at Green Valley Ranch, and now Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que is expanding with a very logical second location in the Vegas Valley.
Red Rock Resort—Station Casinos’ Summerlin headquarters and sister property to Green Valley Ranch Resort—will open a new Lucille’s next summer, in the space currently occupied by the Cabo Mexican restaurant. Lucille’s, privately owned by Craig Hofman, started in Long Beach, California in 1999 and now has 16 locations in California, Arizona and Nevada.
This will be Red Rock’s second attempt at barbecue, as the Sumerlin resort once housed Salt Lick BBQ in the space currently occupied by Yard House.
