The majority of Las Vegas' nightspots and dayclubs have announced their Labor Day Weekend plans, and it looks like partygoers can look forward to the usual holiday weekend lineup—DJ awesomeness and a few special live performances.

One party stood out from the rest, though, and of course it was from local event company CollectiveZoo, the guys who took home the 2012 Weekly Award for Most Inventive Nightlife Concept.

The September 1 party, titled The Float, is the eighth installment of CZ’s traveling Pool Party Safari series. And just as the event’s name implies, partygoers will float down the Colorado River from Bullhead City, Arizona to Laughlin. The trip begins at UNLV, where attendees will board buses to be transported to the wet and wild party's starting point.

A houseboat will lead the four-hour float, with DJs Topsider and Sousay supplying their sounds from the party barge. And as if four-hours of cruising and boozing isn’t enough, the float concludes with a party on the beach at the Avi Resort & Casino.

Packages for the event range from $35 to $65 per person (CZ can accommodate singles to parties of eight), and include the necessary river floating accoutrements. Tickets can only be purchased at collectivezoo.ticketleap.com/float.
