The Details

Those Guys Pies
2916 Lake East Drive, 629-2626.
Daily, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

It’s not a secret that one of the guys who started Cosmopolitan’s secret pizza joint has ventured into the neighborhood to open Those Guys Pies. But this is the Lakes, not a conveniently tasty stop for drunkies stumbling out of Marquee.

So how do these guys’ pies hold up in the suburbs? The crust is thin and chewy, the edges are sublimely crackly, and the satisfaction level is high. A 14-inch white pie ($13.50) is rich with ricotta and garlic, and you can upgrade by adding broccoli rabe, sausage and caramelized onion. Those Guys also serve killer cheesesteaks, wings and fingers, proving they know their way around the entire kitchen and not just a pizza oven.

The only similarity: This is kind of a hidden spot, too, one well worth the hunt. If you’re a Vegas pizza aficionado, this is must-try pie.
