Yoga Asana Championship It’s yogi vs. yogi at the Nevada Regional of this meditative “sport,” with competitors demonstrating five compulsories (rabbit pose!) and two postures of their choice within a three-minute window. Killer Karoake One of the best new TV shows is also the absolute stupidest. Contestants sing the hits as host Steve-O—yep, that Steve-O—does awful things to them. Fridays, 9 p.m., TruTV.

Dead Prez The political rappers’ live rendition of early single “Hip-Hop” was the musical highlight of Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, a film loaded with notables like Kanye West, The Roots and The Fugees. December 9, 8 p.m., $17-$20, LVCS.

Spago Anniversary Menu Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck will be in town December 11 to celebrate Spago’s 20th at the Forum Shops and dish up a throwback menu (with retro pricing!) featuring classics like smoked sturgeon and Cantonese-style duck. December 10-14.

Start Spreadin' the News Southern Wine & Spirits of Nevada sponsors this food and wine fundraiser, featuring 22 chefs from top Strip eateries serving up the goods on the Brooklyn Bridge at New York-New York to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy. Downtown Throwdown Barbecue Championships The Nevada Barbecue Association is throwing this two-day sampling extravaganza, where you can taste chili, chicken, pork and brisket from cowboys cooks.
