From taxicabs to bathroom sinks, the Vegas video advertising evolution continues

Don’t worry, you don’t have to read anything on the paper towels.
In March, Steve Wynn put video monitors in 1,000 Strip cabs. When tourists hop into these taxis to travel from point A to point B, they’re met with the warm sound of Wynn’s voice, offering them a “precise location-specific message.” It made us wonder, where in Vegas will video pop up next? Answer: MGM Grand’s bathrooms. The screens are attached to the sinks’ faucets. Right now, they show advertisements for KÀ, the MGM Grand and Faucet Impressions, the company that installed the devices, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before Faucet Impressions teams up with Wynn to develop a toilet paper dispenser impression device so we can be bombarded by ads as we poop. Wonder what kind of “precise location-specific message” they’ll put there ...
