Hater nation
A quick message to all those who heaped racist insults on Obama for holding a press conference during Sunday night’s football game, in which he said, among other things, that we are a nation that needs to change: You are proving his point. —Ken Miller, associate editor
-
Wish list
Two things I want most this holiday season: more time and sleep. And a third: healing for the families in Newtown. —Don Chareunsy, contributing editor

Not-so-hotmail
My original email account (from when the Internet was only kind of a thing) got hacked this weekend. It made me realize that even with a 27-digit password in another language, I’m still vulnerable. And it reminded me that I might want to trash those love notes from 1999. —Erin Ryan, staff writer
