You either love or hate Gordon Ramsay. The star of Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and Master Chef is so caustic, so foul-mouthed, that you either can’t look away or you just turn the channel. But for all his nastiness, you gotta give Ramsay one thing—he’s usually 100 percent right.
Ramsay now brings that expertise and perfectionism to Las Vegas when he opens his first restaurant here in the spring of 2012—Gordon Ramsay Steak, which will replace Les Artistes Steakhouse at Paris Las Vegas.
To call this a large space is putting it mildly. It will seat 274 and feature a large bar area, chef’s table and private dining room. There will also be a large lounge area. In addition, the design of the space will reflect Ramsay’s British heritage.
Then of course, there’s the food. Diners will get a look at Ramsay’s exclusive beef-aging program, and in addition to steak, customers will be able to choose from fish and chips, Shepard’s Pie, seafood and other menu selections that reflect Ramsay’s vast experience.
“Vegas is such a vibrant city, and I’m excited to open my first Las Vegas restaurant in a Caesars Entertainment —Paris Las Vegas,” says Ramsay in a press release. “The space is really bold and innovative, and we’ve put together a great team and created a contemporary, quality menu. I can't wait to open and start welcoming guests!”
