Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow visited Las Vegas last week, reportedly for a Nike photo shoot. While in town, he took in Cirque du Soleil’s O at the Bellagio while drinking Fiji water and eating popcorn. He also reportedly plans to return here soon to give sermons at a local church. Is anyone else concerned that Tebow came to Sin City and didn’t let loose, even just a little? Seriously, dude, this may be good for your image, but it’s doing nothing for ours.

Radio

Radio silence

Scott Mahalick, the owner of KXLI, a Moapa-based, 100,000-watt FM commercial radio station known as Jelli 94.5, is trying to sell it on eBay for $8.9 million. As of this week, the top bid was $85,100. Mahalick says he thinks it’s the first time a radio station has been put on eBay. We’re guessing it will also be the last.

Terry Bradshaw

Passing on the chance

Despite planning it for years, ex-NFL quarterback Terry Bradshaw announced this week he will not be performing a one-man song and dance show in Las Vegas, which was also to have included stand-up comedy. Bradshaw says he canceled his plans because, “I’m tired.” We would prefer to believe it’s because he looked in the mirror one morning and said, “I’m Terry Bradshaw.”
