Not mincing words

Nevada’s 150-year anniversary is coming up on October 31, 2014. The theme, “Battle Born, Nevada Proud,” was created by 2-year-old Mighty Morphin Power Rangers superfan Jimmy McPippen. “Nevada strong! Fight California good! Pow! Pow!” added McPippen.

Bar Brawl

Take it to the bank

President Obama’s Making Home Affordable Program and the Hope Now Alliance are teaming up to host an event at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in which underwater homeowners will get to meet face-to-face with representatives from Bank of America, Chase, One West, US Bank and Wells Fargo. Don King, the event’s promoter, promises “a surefire bloodbath.”
