Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association Championship It is what it sounds like: cowboys on horseback shooting targets for glory and our viewing amazement. (Don’t worry; they’re blanks). August 1-4, 9 a.m., free, South Point.

The Pact The latest in the Sci Fi Center’s ongoing series of new indie horror movies from IFC Films is a slow-burn haunted house story that’s been building positive word-of-mouth from critics and fans. July 28, 8 p.m., $7.
