New happy hour at Lavo offers more than meatballs

Lavo, in case you didn’t know, is also an Italian restaurant. After ending its springtime Sunday champagne party brunch—which was much more club than restaurant—the Palazzo hot spot has launched a new happy hour promotion available from 4:30 to 7 p.m. every day, and it’s all about balls.

Meatballs in marinara, of course, but also arancini (rice balls), fried crab balls, tuna tartare balls, and brownie balls for dessert. These small bites are just $7 (for a pair), the same price as a Peroni or glass of Iondo prosecco. The full dining menu is available in Lavo’s lounge starting at 5 p.m., which is nice in case you don’t want to eat round food.
