Los Angeles Clippers star point guard Chris Paul hosted the annual Baller’s Ball at Lavo in the Palazzo on Friday night. Paul, dressed casually in a pink short-sleeve polo and khakis, posed for photographs on the red carpet and even signed a basketball jersey for a fan.
Paul and his group, including his brother C.J. Paul and Clippers rookies Travis Leslie and Trey Thompkins, kicked off Friday night with dinner at Lavo before making their way upstairs to a VIP table in the boutique nightclub.
DJ Crooked announced Paul’s arrival as partygoers cheered, and the group stood on top of their booth partying and overlooking the packed dance floor. Paul and his entourage danced and requested multiple songs from Crooked. Earlier Friday, Paul spent the afternoon in a cabana at Tao Beach.
On Saturday, Paul was part of the Tao Beach celebration for Nicole Scherzinger’s 34th birthday, and their cabana, near Scherzinger’s, also overlooked the dayclub party. Paul got a hold of a large water gun and ran around spraying the crowd and playfully soaking Scherzinger and her friends.
Later than night, Paul et al arrived at Tao for dinner and then a dance-floor VIP table in the club. Paul hopped in the DJ booth with Leslie and Thompkins to show DJ Vice some love. Paul and his group danced to the music and partied into the wee hours of the morning.
Also at Tao on Friday night, actor, singer and Chippendales at the Rio guest host Joey Lawrence and U.K. soccer player James Beattie, who later partied with friends and teammates, to the sounds of the Stafford Brothers at Marquee in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Hollywood super-producer Jerry Bruckheimer also partied at Marquee.
