Tequila to the rescue with the Sauza firemen
Sun, Jun 24, 2012 (9:52 a.m.)
This truck doesn’t put out fires … it starts them.
Think Las Vegas is already hot? It’s about to get downright steamy when the Sauza Tequila Mobile Regional Rescue Tour (try typing that five times fast) parks in Vegas Monday with muscular, margarita-making firefighters in tow.
The fire truck, painted blue to promote Sauza Blue, will be stocked with tequila and sizzling hot fireman, who will come to the rescue of passersby with random acts of kindness, coupons and tips on how to make delicious margaritas that will extinguish the summer heat. And because firemen look best when flexing, the Sauza crew will also perform such heroics as carrying heavy bags and giving a “lift” to people wearing uncomfortable shoes. (Perhaps they should station the boys outside Marquee on Saturday night.)
In Vegas, the “Make it With a Fireman” tour will stop Lindo Michoaan (2655 E. Desert Inn Road) from noon-2 p.m. and Diablo’s Cantina at the Monte Carlo from 4-8 p.m.
You can keep track of the Sauza truck and its crew via Twitter using the hashtag #sauzatotherescue.
