Nightlife news & notes: Paris Hilton DJs, Neapolitan opens and more

Sweet tooth? Check out Neapolitan at the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan.

Day drinking just got cooler with the opening of the Neapolitan of Las Vegas last week at Cosmo. Just off the Boulevard Pool, the bar serves alcohol-infused ice cream, ice pops and milkshakes perfect for a summer day. Menu standouts include the minty Grass is Always Greener and the Snow Bunny with Stoli Razberi. —Allison Duck

It’s Miller time at Palms Pool & Bungalows for Ditch Fridays on June 29, as anyone with the last name Miller gets three free Miller Lites and a $25 Miller Time gift card to help out friends with less giving last names. Like Feldberg. When is it going to be Feldberg time?

Time is on the side of anyone at Hyde Bellagio on Friday evenings. The club is introducing Fountains at 5, a weekly cocktail hour that pairs summery drinks with small bites and a front-row fountain view that threatens to make even the most jaded local swoon. Go ahead, leave work early.

And making the rounds this week on YouTube and everywhere else: Paris Hilton’s debut DJ set at Pop Music Festival in São Paulo, Brazil, on June 23. The set—featuring a gyrating Hilton in sparkling bustier and headphones, her new song with Afrojack and a hand reaching in to adjust the mixer at one particularly awkward moment—is a bit hard to watch. Not that it’s stopped anyone: The videos have wracked up hundreds of thousands of views, and that kind of notoriety surely means one thing—we’ll be seeing her on the decks in Vegas sometime soon. —Sarah Feldberg
