Best Cocktail Menu: Downtown Cocktail Room

Booze is the star at both Downtown Cocktail Room and its Harlot Night cocktail.

Once again, DCR owns it. The menu is an elegant grid of originals, classics, punches, suds, shots and strains of the naughty Green Fairy. You might not need the numeric guide to cocktail “approachability,” but you’ll always delight in the names of DCR originals—Don’t Fig With Me, Leeki My Tiki, Funky Pear Medina. It’s a sign that the place is hip, but not too hip for a sense of humor. 111 Las Vegas Blvd. S., 880-3696. Mon-Fri, 4 p.m.-2 a.m.; Sat, 7 p.m.-2 a.m.
