Naked City Pizza Shop
Naked City Pizza Shop, a dive bar grub spot that earned pizza fame on TV's Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, has a good concept: sandwich simplicity and damn good pizza. And chef/owner Chris Palmeri also has his own spin on cooking wings.
Brock Radke, Las Vegas Weekly's restaurant reviewer, put it as a surprise entry on his list of the 20 most important restaurants in Las Vegas, ranking it at No. 18.
Everything is made from scratch, from the roasted meats in the sandwiches to the garlic mayonnaise spread on top and the humongous habañero-spiced pickle riding shotgun. Add to that combo a selection of Buffalo-style pizzas and a side menu devoted entirely to French fries topped with everything from garlic habanero sauce to pepperoni and mozzarella cheese and you've got a recipe for bar food done better than just about anywhere.
