This troupe is known for creating optical illusions with the human body and has appeared in Target ads and Hanes commercials. In Botanica, Momix takes on the vast subject of nature for a piece it calls a “natural aphrodisiac.” April 20, 7:30 p.m., $24-$59.

Joey DeFrancesco Trio When DeFrancesco was 17, he got recruited to tour and record with Miles Davis. As far as we’re concerned, that alone gives him free rein to bill himself as “the finest jazz organist on the planet” on his official website. Idina Menzel You know her, you just don’t know that you know her. Along with Kristin Chenoweth and Matthew Morrison—you know them, too—Menzel is one Broadway’s biggest “crossover” stars.
