Remember Beck? The alt-rock icon hasn’t released an album in four years, and it’s been even longer since he played Las Vegas—creeping up on seven years since his performance at the first Vegoose music festival in 2005.

On August 8, Beck will make his return to town, for a Wednesday-night show at the Pearl. Tickets are priced from $49-$69, and go on sale this Friday at noon. No word on what material he might play, but we do know he’ll be backed by the musicians from his late-'90s Mutations Tour: guitarists Roger Joseph Manning Jr. and Smokey Hormel, bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen and drummer Joey Waronker.

In other concert news, tickets are on sale now for the Cosmopolitan’s new Blvd Social Club series, Thursday night shows at the hotel’s strip-side pool. The lineup so far: Dr. Dog (May 17), The Henry Clay People on May 24, K.Flay (May 31), White Denim (June 14), Elan Atlas (June 21), Terraplane Sun on June 28, B.J. the Chicago Kid (July 5), Band of Heathens (July 12), Awolnation (July 19), Aloe Blacc (July 26), Yellow Ostrich (August 9), Fun. (August 16), Polica (August 23), former locals The Mad Caps with current locals Dude City (August 30), Barcelona (September 6) and Ryan Leslie (September 20). Tickets cost $20 per show.
