Rain at the Palms, ce.strength.org

If you’re not going to make it to the Vegas Uncork’d Grand Tasting, don’t worry—there’s always Taste of the Nation. More than 45 Vegas restaurants will be represented by chefs serving tasty bites inside and outside of Rain at the Palms on May 17, and your gluttony goes to a great cause. All of the proceeds from this annual event benefit Share Our Strength’s efforts to end childhood hunger, which manifest locally through the University of Nevada, Reno Foundation/UNCE Chef for Kids, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, Three Square Food Bank and Project MANA. Splurge on VIP admission for $125 and they’ll let you in at 6 p.m., giving you an entire hour to feast before the commoners arrive
