This summer’s ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ winner to cook at Gordon Ramsay Steak

Gordon Ramsay just opened his first Vegas restaurant, and he’s already looking for a new chef. Sort of.

The intense chef’s popular Hell’s Kitchen reality show will return for its 10th season in early June on FOX, and the new crop of 18 competitors will be competing for a head chef position at the shiny new Gordon Ramsay Steak restaurant, opened days ago at Paris Las Vegas.

The Details

Gordon Ramsay Steak
Paris. 946-7000.
Daily, 5 p.m.-10:15 p.m.

Though Ramsay’s name is on the door, executive chef Kevin Hee runs the joint day to day. From the looks of the new restaurant, resplendent in red with neon sculptures hanging from the ceiling’s Union Jack and a “Chunnel” entryway (from Paris to London, get it?), it’s quite a prize for Hell’s Kitchen. The gig might even be worth the punishment losing chefs will be subject to on the show—drinking liquefied versions of their failed dish.

Ramsay is in town to celebrate his restaurant opening and participate in the Vegas Uncork’d Grand Tasting tonight at Caesars Palace.
