Moby drops off Electric Daisy Carnival’s Las Vegas bill

Image

One of the biggest names on next month's Electric Daisy Carnival lineup has quietly dropped off. Moby, who notched eight top-10 U.S. dance hits during the 1990s, will not play this year's event, a PR rep for the Las Vegas festival confirmed. No reason for his cancellation was given.

The lineup for this year's festival—scheduled for June 8-10 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway—features many of the world's biggest DJs and electronic-music acts, including Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, Benny Benassi, Calvin Harris, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Gabriel & Dresden, John Digweed, Kaskade, Richie Hawtin and Tiësto. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $375 (plus fees) for a three-day pass.
