The last time Justin Bieber lit up the MGM Grand was May 5, when he toted boxer Floyd Mayweather’s championship belts into the arena as part of an entourage (“The Money Team”) that also included 50 Cent and Lil Wayne. The Canadian wunderkind’s next appearance will involve more singing and less Mayweather, unless the fighter has been hankering to duet on “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
Bieber’s new album Believe drops June 19, and Las Vegas is one of the first stops on his North American tour. Tickets to the 7 p.m. show at the MGM Grand go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. this Saturday, June 2. If you’re a Biebs fan but somehow aren’t part of his official fan club, just hope all the tickets don’t go during the presale. Prices range from $39.50-89.50 through Ticketmaster.
In the months between now and the show, stay pumped by taking in Bieber’s surprise appearance in Saturday Night Live’s 100th digital short, the video for his new hit single “Boyfriend” and TMZ stories about whether he truly did smack a paparazzo outside a California shopping center over this Memorial Day Weekend. Maybe he and Mayweather have been spending too much time together.
