Train fight From Russia With Love (1963) The close-quarters clash between Red Grant (Robert Shaw) and Sean Connery’s Bond remains the most visceral, thrilling hand-to-hand combat in the Bond canon.
Fort Knox battle Goldfinger (1964) From the gold bar bouncing off Oddjob’s chest to the electrocution by which Bond dispatches him, perhaps the most iconic Bond action scene.
Ski chase The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) The film’s dramatic opening scene ends with Bond free-falling off a cliff for what seems like forever, only to open a Union Jack parachute at the last possible moment.
Tanker truck fight Licence to Kill (1989) Even though the Bond franchise sorta fizzled with Timothy Dalton, this film ended with nail-biting perfection, at least.
Construction site chase Casino Royale (2006) In what resembles a parkour training video, Bond follows a suspect through a series of obstacles, including, most memorably, a crane.
