Although Carla Pellegrino was eliminated Wednesday night from Bravo’s Top Chef: Seattle competition and the show’s redemption web series, Last Chance Kitchen, you can help the local celebrity chef make her way back to the chopping block with the show’s new “Save a Chef” feature.

Contestants eliminated during Last Chance Kitchen have a shot at, yes, another last chance by earning salvation through the help of their tweet- and text-savvy fans. Each week a “Save a Chef” winner is named, who then continues on in the “Save a Chef” contest with the freshly-eliminated chefs as their new competition. The last chef standing then returns to the Last Chance Kitchen to again compete in the web competition for a spot in the televised Top Chef finale.

Pellegrino, of Henderson’s Bratalian and Meatball Spot at Town Square, is one of three chefs vying for this week’s “Save a Chef” spot. Her two competitors are Washington, D.C.-based personal chef Jeffrey Jew and Chrissy Camba of Chicago’s Bar Pastoral.

Pellegrino’s supporters can vote for her by either tweeting with the #savechefcarla hashtag or texting “A” to 27286. “Save a Chef” limits you to one vote per day, and Top Chef is giving you some serious motivation to participate: a chance to win $5,000 for your own “foodie adventure.”
