What’s better than seeing The Big Lebowski with a huge crowd? Dressing up as your favorite character, that’s what. We’ve got dibs on Walter!

The Big Lebowski Pay homage to the Dude by donning your bathrobe (or any other costume related to the movie) and checking out the Coen brothers’ cult classic under the stars. The event will also feature lawn bowling, in honor of the Dude’s favorite activity. Just don’t spill your beverage. October 26, 7 p.m., free, Huntridge Circle Park.
Halloween John Carpenter’s 1978 horror classic is the perfect film for the holiday, and the best way to be totally immersed in the terror of Michael Myers is to catch the movie on the big screen, where it’ll be showing in a new HD transfer. American Horror Story Last season featured a haunted house. This season features a haunted asylum with aliens, nuns wearing red negligees, child-killing lunatics and, possibly, mutants. 666 Park Avenue? Please! This is the creepiest show on TV. Wednesdays, 10 p.m., FX.
