Redfoo goes stage-to-pool to cap LDW

Photographing Redfoo of LMFAO and the Party Rock Crew is one of the most exciting things I have the opportunity to do. The interaction the group has with the crowd is second to none. Simply put, they are wildly unpredictable. For this shot, I followed Foo to the pool from the stage while he was performing. Without hesitation he jumped into a crowd and made his way to the pool, hands grasping at him and fans screaming. DJ Dainjazone played “Sorry for Party Rocking” as a finale. Having shot Foo many times, I could feel he was about to do something wild. As the song ended, he handed the mic to security, threw his beer in the air and dove into a sea of fans while they splashed and went absolutely crazy. It was definitely a Labor Day Weekend moment I’ll remember forever. I’m sure the thousands of partygoers at Tao Beach won’t soon forget it, either.
