Same Sex Mary (Thursday, 9 p.m., Bunkhouse) If Neon Reverb were a football game, Boulder City’s Same Sex Mary would be the tailgate party—and we have faith the bluesy rockers will get the festivities off to a hip-shaking start.

Lazystars (Thursday, 10 p.m., Beauty Bar) Fans of locals-turned-chart-toppers Imagine Dragons should add this five-piece—which combines new wave pop sensibilities with arena-rock ambitions—to their watch list.

Hassan (Friday, 1 a.m., Beauty Bar) The larger half of hip-hop duo Phil A & Hassan released solo album Westbound & Down in July. Now, get ready for “Haszilla” to unleash heavy beats and slicker rhymes Downtown.

Rusty Maples (Friday, 1 a.m., Bunkhouse) If singer Blair Dewane’s off-color banter doesn’t put a smile on your face, the folk-pop tunes should. We suggest wearing your dancing shoes … and leaving your politically correct friends at home.

A Crowd of Small Adventures (Saturday, 1 a.m., Beauty Bar) The Jackson Wilcox-led sextet returns from a year-long hiatus in style, bringing new songs and new members to a stage it will share with fellow indie warblers Moonface.

Foxygen (Saturday, 11 p.m., Beauty Bar If the thought of Van Morrison, Lou Reed and Mick Jagger in one room makes you weak in the knees—this groovy/noisy Jagjaguwar Records duo might be exactly your thing.
